CITY OP BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE TBB CONSTRUCTION OF
CURB, AND GUTTER PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OP THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF TOE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND. DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows;
a) That more than fifty 5096) per cent of
curb and gutter have been constructed on the
foUowing area:
1) East side of Big Oalton Avenue
between Channing Street and Stockdale
Street.
b) That is is the intention of the City Council
to cause curb and gutter to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to construct said improvements, above des-
cribed, to the owner or owners of the property described herein,
as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and High-
ways Code»
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 15th day of June, 1966, at
8:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in
the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass upon
any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the con-
struction of curb and gutter in the area above described•
SECTION 4. That all protests roust be in writing and
filed with the city Clerk on or before the time set for hearing
of objections and protests*
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this re solution,and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent*
