A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS AND GUTTERS PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
the curbs and gutters have been constructed
on the following area:
1) Southeast side of Depot Avenue
between Jeremie Avenue and Central
Avenue.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curbs and gutters to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to conslaruct said improvements, ab^ve
described, to the owner or owners of the property described
herein, as required by said Section 5870 et seq of th^ Streets
and Highways Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 6th day of July, 1966,
at 8:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard,
in the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass
upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the
construction of cures and gutters in the area above described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed
with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of
objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent.
