Home My WebLink About1966 153 CC RESO1966 153 CC RESOàKÒ?RESOLUTION NO. 66-155 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, FINDING AND DETEWINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF THE FEE INTEREST IN AND TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND ALL USES APPURTENANT THERETO. JERRY AVENUE) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS; SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare that the public interest, convenience end necessity require the acquisition of the fee interest in and to certain real property for public street purposes and all uses appurtenant thereto. That the location of said public project has been planned and located in a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private Injury. SECTION 2. That it is the intention of satd City Council to acquire in its name the fee interest in and to said real property as hereinafter described, by a proceeding in condemnation, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California. SECTION 5* That the said properties, as hereinabove referred to, the acquisition of which s required by said public interest, convenience and necessity, for the purposes as set forth n SECTION I hereof, are located n the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and are more particularly described on Exhibit A" attached hereto and incor- porated herein by this reference* SECTION h. That the City Attorney of the City of Baldwin Park is hereby authorized and directed to prepare, institute and prosecute in the name of said City, such proceedings in the proper Court having jurisdiction thereof as may be necessary for the acquisition of said fee interest n and to said real property as hereinabove described, and to obtain the necessary Order of Court granting to said City the right of Immediate occupancy and possession of said real property.
