BALDWIN PARK, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA. MAKING FINDINGS AND OVERRULING
PROTESTS AND OBJECTIONS AND ORDERING THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF THE CITY OF BAtDWtN
PARK TO CONSTRUCT CURBS AND GUTTERS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK STANDARD PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS CONFORMING WITH EXISTING CURBS
AND GUTTERS CONSTRUCT®) UPON THEM FACING WEST
SIDE OF BIG DALTON AVENUE BETWEEN SIERRA WAY AND
CLYDEWOOD STREET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Improvement Act of 19N, Division 7, part $,
Chapter 2? of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, having
to do with the construcHon of gutters and curbs In front of property, the
City Council of the City of Baldwin Park In Resolution No. 66-135 de a

between Sierra Way and Clydewood Street.
had completed curbs and gutters In front of them; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by said Resolution No. 155 directed
the Superintendent of Streets to notify owners or possessors of the lots
within this block which did not have curbs and gutters on them to construct
them according to the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifications?
and thereupon^ the Superintendent of Streets In compliance with this
re-solution mailed and posted said notices which described the work to be done
and specified that on the l^th day of June 1966, at 6:00 P.M.»
In the Council Chambers In the City Hall, located at ll4i05 East Pacific Avenue,
Baldwin Park, California, a hearing would be held by the Council of the City of
Baldwin Park to pass upon objections or protests. If any, to notices of work
to be done by the owners of property Involved or other Interested persons? and
WHEREAS, Q protests being made at this hearing held at the
above designated time and place.
NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cl+y of
Baldwin Park as follows;
SECTION 1. That all protests and objections ore hereby overruled.
SECTION 2. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldwin
Park is hereby ordered to construct curbs and gutters n accordance with the
City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifications on th® front of all
lots facing west side of Big Dalton Avenue between Sierra Way and Clydewood
Street.
which have not been constructed or upon which construction has not beeri
commenced and diligently worked upon within sixty 60) days of the mailing
and posting of the notices to construct; and that when this work Is completed,
he shall notify the City Council of the fact of completion so that a date for
a hearing of protests to the report of the completed work may be set; and upon
completion of the work he shall prepare a report of work which will Include I)
work done, 2) cost, 5) description of the property In front of which It was
done, and U) the assessment against each lot or parcel which may include a
riiinber of parcels of property whether contiguous to each other or not, which
report shall be made ready to be presented to the Council at the da+e set for
the hearing on the report of the completed work.
SECTION 5< The City Clerk shell certify to the passage and
adoption of s resolution and It shall thereupon take effect and be In force.
