A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS AND GUTTERS PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 FT SEQ OP THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, /
THE CtTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION at the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FINOy DETERMINE and DECLARE as folicw^:
a) That more than f?fty 50?i) per cent of* the
curbs aprf gutters hava been guaranteed on the
foilowlhg areas

between Puente Avenue and May land Avenue
b) \hat It s the Intention of the City Councif to
cause Aurbs and guttys to be constructed t the sole
expense of the owners of properties In and along
safd above described area, pursuant to Section 5870
et &eq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to construct said improvements, above described,
to the owner c^ owners of the property described hereTn, as required
by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et s«q of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Ctty Coonci
does hereby brder that on the 20th day of July, 1966, at 8s00 P. M,,
or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council
Chambers, the tity Council will hear and pass upon any anrf all
objections or protests to the ordering of the construction of curbs
and gutters fn the area above described*
SECTION I^« That all protests must bo in writing and filod
with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of
obj«ctt«<« end pro^ta.
SECTION 5, That the City Cterk shaJJ certify to the
adoption of thte resolution, and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent.
