A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAU)WIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS AND GUTte^S PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, /. 3}
THE CITY COUNCIL OF* THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as foNowsi
a) That more then fifty 5090 per cent of the
curbs and gutters hove been guaranteed on the
following area)
l) Southeast side of Pacific Avenue
between Ardilla Avenue and Puente Avenue
b) That It Is the Intention of the City Council to
oause curbs and gutters to be constructed at the sole
expense of the owners of properties In end along said
above described area, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent Is Instructed to
give proper notice to construct satd Improvements, above described,
to the owner or owners of the property described herein, as required
by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Cod^.
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the CJ+y
Council does hereby order that on the 20th day of July, 1966, at
8i00 P, Aft, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the
Council Chambers, the City Council will hear end pass upon any and
all objections or protests to the ordering of the construction of
curbs and gutters in the area above described*
SECTION 2^ That all protests must be In writing and filed
with the City Clerk on or before the time set fw hearing of objections
an<t protests,
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, end forward copies hereof to the Street Super Jntendent
ADOPTEO Ad PASSED this 15th day of June, 1966.
