A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURB, GUTTER, AMD SIDEWALK PLRSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ
OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA. 66-S-25)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS;
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETEWINE and DECLARE as follows^
a) That more than fifty 50^) per cent of curb, gutter and
sidewalk has been guaranteed on the following areas
I) Northeast side of Pacific Avenue between Puente
Avenue and Big Da I ton Avenue.
b) That It is the intention of the City Council to cause curb,
gutter and sidewalk to be constructed, at the sole expense of the
owners of properties in and along said above described area, pursuant
to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of Cat ifornia.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give proper
notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner or
owners of the property described herein, as required by said Section 5870
et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streefs
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby
order that on the 3rd day of August, 1966, at 8x00 P,M. or as soon thereafter
as the matter can be heard. In the Council Chamber, the City Council will
hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the
construction of curb, gutter and sidewalk In the area above described^
SECTION k» That all protests must be In writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendento
ADOPTED and PASSED this 6th day of July, 1966.
