A RESOLUTION 0^ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SIDEWALK PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SECT SON 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

THE CITY pOUNCBL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWSs
SECTION lo That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as foBlowsg
a) That more than fifty 50?0 P®»" cent of sidewalk has been
guaranteed on the following areas
8) Northeast side of Foster Avenue between Frazier Street
and Spar Band Avenuco
b) That it Is the intention of the City Council to cause sidewalk
to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area^, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
SECTHON 2o The Street Superintendent Is instructed to give proper
notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner or owners
of the property described herein, as required by said Section 5870 et seq of
the Streets and Highways Codec
SECTION 5o That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby
order that on the 3rd day of August, 1966, at 8s00 P.M. or as soon thereafter
as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the C?ty Council will
hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the
construction of sidewalk in the area above described.
SECTION i+o That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objectiorsand protests
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superlntendento
ADOPTED and PASSED this 6th day of July, 1966>
