MAKING F1NDBNGS AND OVERRULBNG PROTESTS AND OBJECT SONS AND ORDERBNG THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF THE CBTY OF BALDWIN PARK TO CONSTRUCT CURBS IN ACCORDANCE WITH TOE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS CONFOR^HNG WBTH EXBSTBNG CURBS CONSTRUCTED UPON THEM FACONG SOUTHEAST SIDE OF DEPOT AVENUE BETWEEN JEREMBE AVENUE AND CENTRAL AVENUEo 66-S-2?) WHEREAS? pursuant fro the improvement Act of 19H, Division 7» part 5^ Chapter 27 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, having to do with the construction of curbs in front of property, the City Council of the C?ty of Baldwin Park in Resolution NOo 66-^9 made a finding that more than 50^ of the lots facing southeast side of Depot Avenue between Jeremie Avenue and Central Avenue? had completed curbs n front of them; and WHEREAS, the City Council by said Resolution NOo 66-11+9 directed the Superintendent of Streets to notify owners or possessors of the iots within this block which did not have curbs on them to construct them according to the City of Baldwim Park standard pBans and specificationsg and thereupon, the Superintendent of Streets, in compliance with this resolution mailed and posted said notices which described the work to be done and specified that on the 6th day of July,, 1966, at SgQO PJ^o In the Council Chambers in the City Hall, located at IwO? East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, a hearing would be held by the Council of the City of Baldwin Park to pass upon objections or protests, f any, to notices of work to be done by the owners of property involved or other interested persons 5 and WHEREAS, 0 protests being made at this hearing held at the above designated time and j^lace, NOW, THEREFORE, BE ST RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park as follows? SECTION lo That alB protest and objections are hereby overruled, SECTION 2o The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldwin Park is hereby ordered to construct curbs n accordance with the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifications on the front of all lots facing southeast side of Depot Avenue between Jeremie Avenue and Central Avenue which have not been constructed or upon which construction has not been commenced and diligently worked upon within sixty 60) days of the mailing and posting of the notices to constructs and that when this work is completed he shall notify the City Council of the fact of completion so that a date for a hearing of protests to the report of the completed work may be set^ and upon completion of the work he shall prepare a report of work which will include 1) work done 2) cost 5) description of the property in front of which it was done and J^.) the assessment against each lot or parcel which may include a number of parcels of property whether contiguous to each other or not, which report shall be made ready to be presented to the Council at the date set for the hearing on the report of the completed worko SECTION 5" The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall thereupon take effect and be n force.
