A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SIDEWALK PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA 66-s-27)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the. City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does here FIND, DETERMINE sad DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 509:) per cent of
sidewalk has been guaranteed on the following
area:
1) Northeast side of Foster Avenue
between Baldwin Park Boulevard and
Sparland Avenue.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause sidewalk to be constructed, at the sole
expense of the owners of properties in and along said
above described area, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to construct said improvements, above des-
cribed, to the owner or owners of the property described herein,
as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and High-
ways Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 17th day of August, 1966,
at 8:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard,
in the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass
upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the
c onstruction of sidewalk in the area above described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall. certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 20th day of July, 1966.

DWIGHT F. FRENCH, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
the he is the duly appointed, qualified and acting Superin-
tendent of Streets for the City of Baldwin Park, and that
pursuant to Resolution No. 66-190 of the Council of the
City of Baldwin Park, State of California, he on the 25th
day of July 19 66 posted or caused to be
posted notices to Construct in a conspicuous place on each
parcel of property in which construction Is to take place.
