A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION O CA'.'SE SHE 23NSTR'GCTI0N Of'
CURBS, GUTTERS, SLDEWALK AND DRIVE
APPROACH PVRS'-ANT 1`"O THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE 01, y'HE STATE 0~

THE CI-117 COUNCIL OF THE 01~-OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That: the ty 2ouncii of the City of
Baldwin Park doe: here FIND, DETERMINE and DECIARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
curbs, gutter;~~, s:-Ldewalk and drive approach
have been guorantr~ed on the following areas:
1) West side of Stei,~,art Avenue
between Palm Avenue and Los Angeles
Street 66--S-28)
2) East o'Lde of Stewart Avenue
between Palm Avenue and Clark
Street i66-S-29)
3) East s-"34, of Stewart Avenue
between Lost i;ngtie6 Street and
Rockenbach Street 66-S-:i0)
i4) West, s-.de of Stewart Avenue
betwe n Olive Street and Sandstone
Street 66-S-31)
5) East. a:,.ede of Stewart Avenue
between N-,bi.a Street and Cragmont
Street 66-S-32)
6) West side of Stewart Avenue
between Sandstone Street and Clearcrest
Drives 66-S-33)
b) That t is the intention of the City Council
to cause curb c;, gutters, sidewalk and drive approach
to be constra-.ted, at the sole expense of the owners
of properties in and along said above described areas,
pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the
owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby ord-:-i.° that on the 21st day of September, 1966,
at 8:00 P.M. or as soon theraaft r as the matter can be heard, in
the Council Chambers, the C:~ty Council will hear and pass upon any
and all objections or protests to the cs'dering of the construction
of curbs, gutters, sidewalk and drive approach in the areas above
described.

SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and forward cop-cs: here--.)f to the. Street Superinten-
dent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this. 17th day of August 1966.
