A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALD'WIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS, SIDEWALK AND DRIVE APPROACH
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
5870 ET SEQ Off" THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE OF THE STATE OF.CALIFORNTA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows,
a) That more than fifty 50f) per cent of
curbs, sidewalk and drive approach have been
guaranteed on the following area:
1) North side of Clark Street between Landis
Avenue and Maine Avenue 66-S®34)
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curbs, sidewalk and drive approach to be
constructed, at the sole expense of the owners
of properties in and along said above described
area, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION Z. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the
owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3- That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council
does hereby order that on the 5th day of October, 1966, at 8:00 P.M. or
as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers,
the City Council will hear and pass upon any and all objections or
protests to the ordering of the construction of orbs, sidewalk and
drive approach in the area above described.
SECTION 4, That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and
protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superinten-
dent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 7th day of
September 1966.
