HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966 220 CC RESO1966 220 CC RESO ×Pó` RESOLUTION NO„ 66-220 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY BF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN- TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALK AND DRIVE APPRO A~CH PD-SU1NT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS AND HICIWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION to That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows: a) That mor e than fifty 50%) per cent of sidewalk and drive approach have been guaranteed on the following area: 1) Northeast side of Pacific Avenue between Mayland Avenue and the South City Boundary. 66-S--35) b) That it is the intention of the City Council to cause sidewalk and drive approach to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of properties in and along said above described aced, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the, Strc:rets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 2 The Street Saaper.intendt~;nt J,s instructed to give proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code, SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby order that on the 5th day of October, 1966, at 8°00 P.M, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City Council. will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the construction of sidewalk and drive approach in the area above described, SECTION 4. That all protests must: be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time et for hearing of objections and protests. SECTION 5.
