A RESOLUTION Off" THE CITY COUNCIL OF TYKE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE r E CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS AND CUTTERS PURSUANT TO MHE PR:()--
VISIONS OF SECTION 581'(3 ET SEO OF THE
STREETS AND 1HLIO WAY5 CODS OF THE STATE
OE CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE" BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND. DETER14INE and DECLARE as follows;
a) That mcm e than fifty 50%) per cant of
curbs and Tatters ha,re been guaranteed on the
following area:
1) North side of Aukland Street between
Syracuse Avenue and Barnes Avenue. 66®S-f37)
b) That it is the intention oaf the City Council
to cause curbs and gutters to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in sand
along said above described area, pursuant to Section
5870 et seq of the Streets and Hv°_gh),,ays Cods; of the
State of California.
SECTION 2, The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements above described, to the
owner or owners of the property described herein„as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3, That pr°usuant to Section 5870 C t seq of the
Streets and Highways Cods; of the State of California, the: City Council
does hereby order that on the 5th day of October, 1966, at 8;00 PeM,
or as soon thereafter as the matter oa,n be heard, in the Council Chambers,
the City Council will hear and pass upon any and all_ ob]e«tions or protests
to the ordering of the construction of C?_,~rbs and gutter in the area above
described
SECTION 40 That all protests must be in writing and filed
With the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections
and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall, certify to the adoption of
this reGolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 7th_ day of September 1966„
