A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALK ANT) DRIVE
APPROACH PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION la That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND, DE'T'ERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
curbs, gutters, sidewalk and drive approach
have been guaranteed on the following area:
1) South side of Morgan Street between
Robin Avenue and Laurens Avenue. 66-S-38)
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curbs, gutters, sidewalk and drive approach
to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners
of properties in and along said above described area,
pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2, The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the
owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code,
SECTION 3m That puusuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council
does hereby order that on the 5th day of October, 1966, at 8:00 P.M.
or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council
Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass upon any and all objections
or protests to the ordering of the construction of curbs, gutters, side-
walk and drive approach in the area above described.
SECTION 4m That all protests must be in writing and filed
with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections
and protests,
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superinten-
dent.
