A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE THE CON'STRUC'TION
OF CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALK AND DRIVE APPROACH PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does here
FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of sidewalk has been
guaranteed on the following area:
1) The north side of Nubia Street between
Lante Street and La Sena Avenue 66-S-40)
b) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of curbs, gutters,
sidewalk and drive approach has been guaranteed on the
following area:
1) The south side of Nubia Street between
Lante Street and La Sena Avenue 66-5-41)
c) That more than fifty j0%) per cent of curbs,, gutters and
sidewalk has been guaranteed on the following area:
1) The north side of Olive Street between
Azusa Canyon Road and La Sena Avenue
66-S-42)
d) That it is the intention of the City Council to cause curbs,
gutters, sidewalk and drive approach to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in and along
said above described areas, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give proper notice
to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner or owners of the property
described herein, as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby order that orl the 19th day
of October, 1966, at 8:0Q P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the
Council Chambers, the City Council will hear acid pass upon any and all objections or
protests to the ordering of the construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalk and drive
approach in the areas above described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk
on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolu-
tion, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 21st day of. September 1966.
