RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND
DETERAINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 pt seq of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, proceedings have been initiated to determine
whether certain premises, and buildings and structures thereon,
constitute a public nuisance; and
b) That the' property, which is the subject of such proceedings
is located at: 12816 Waltham Street, City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described
as: The northwest 42 feet of Lot 278, in Tract 10104, as per map
recorded In Book 142, Pages 62 to 64 of Maps, In the office of the
County Recorder of said County. N-43)
c) That a duly noticed public hearing having been conducted,
pursuant to Section 3203 at seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code,
to determine whether the buildings and structures on said property,
In their present state, constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing, it
was determined that the same does constitue a public nuisance, and
that the public Interest requires that the same be abated.
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others having an
interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by removing the debris and vehicles
from said property within thirty 30) days hereof and that the building be
boarded so as to deny access thereto and lot later than December 15, 1966, that
the building be rehabilitated so as to conform to ail Building Regulations of
the City or removed from the lot, the Chief Administrative Officer is instructed
to abate the same, as provided in Section 3208 et seq of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and forward copies hereof as prescribed by the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code.
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of September, 1966.
