RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING
AND DETERRINING THE EXISTENCE OF
A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING
THE SAME ABATED. N-48)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, proceedings have been initiated to determine
whether certain premises constitute a public nuisance; and
b) That the property, which is the subject of such proceed-
ings is located at: 3518 Millbury Avenue, City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly
described as: Lot 11, in Tract 26446, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per maps recorded in Book 672, Pages
95 and 96 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
c) That a duly noticed public hearing having been conducted,
pursuant to Section 3203 et seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code, to determine whether said premises, in its present state,
constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing,
it was determined that the same does constitute a public nuisance,
and that the public interest requires that the same be abated.
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others having
an interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by the removal of ail stagnant
water from the swimming pool on said property within 30 days hereof, the Chief
Administrative Officer is instructed to abate the same, as provided In Section
3208 et seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and forward copies hereof as prescribed by the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code.
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of September, 1966.
