RESOLUT10N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING
AND DETERAINING HE EXISTENCE OF A
PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE
SAME ABATED. N-51)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby
find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code, proceedings have been initiated to determine whether certain
premises, and buildings and structures thereon, constitute a public
nuisance; and
b) That the property, which is the subject of such proceedings is
located ats 4313 Filhurst Street: Tract #14237 Lot 28, Map Book 8546,
Page 21, Parcel 10.
c) That a duly noticed public hearing having been conducted, pursuant
to Section 3203 et seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine
whether the buildings and structures on said property, in their present
state, constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing, It was
determined that the same does constitute a public nuisance, and that the
pubii"c interest requires that the same be abated.
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others having an
interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by removing the debris from said
property and to secure the said buildings and structures so as to prevent access
thereto within 30 days hereof, the Chief Administrative Officer Is Instructed to
abate the wine, as provided In Section 3208 et seq of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and forward copies hereof as prescribed by the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code.
