A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR
A HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER CERTAIN BUILDINGS
AND STRUCTURES CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find,
determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code,
the Chief Administrative Officer has heretofore conducted an investigation and
has recommended that the City Council conduct a public hearing to determine
whether certain premises and buildings, and structures located thereon, con-
stitute a public nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200 et seq. of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
b) That the premises to which said report relates is described as follows:
I. That property located at 1012 and 1018 Anada Street, City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, more
particularly described as: That portion of Section 7, Township I
South Range 10 West San Bernardino meridian in the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, according to the
official plat of said land filed in the District Land Office on
April 21, 1877, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 30 feet east and 77 feet south of the northwest
corner of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the north-
east quarter of said Section 7; thence northerly parallel to the
centerline of said Section 7, 37 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave southeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence along
said curve to its point of tangency with a line parallel with the
northerly line of said southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
the northeast quarter of said Section 7, thence easterly along
said parallel line 195 feet; thence southerly along a line parallel
with the centerline of said Section 7, 102 feet; thence westerly
along a line parallel to said northerly line of southwest quarter of
the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section 7,
80 feet; thence northerly along a line parallel to the centerline of
said Section 7, 50 feet; thence westerly along a line parallel with
said northerly line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter
of the northeast quarter of said Section 7, to the point of beginning.
2. That property located at L44I La Rica, City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described as:
The south 80 feet of the north 2)46 feet of the east 99 feet of the
southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter
of Section 7, Township I South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino meridian,
in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia, according to the official plat of said land filed in the
District Land Office on April 21, 1877.
3. That property located at 12808 and 12810 Ramona Boulevard, City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, more
particularly described as: That portion of Rancho La Puente in the
City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book I pages 43 and 4 of Patents, in the
office of the recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at a point that is South 14 degree 08' Wes 310 feet and South
75 degree 52' East 75 feet, thence North 14 degree 08' East to the south-
easterly line of West Ramona Boulevard; thence southwesterly thereon
85.63 feet; thence South 14 degree 08' west to the point of
beginning.
c) That the said City Council has accepted the recommendation of the
Chief Administrative Officer, and does hereby declare its intent to conduct
a public hearing to determine whether the said premises above described,
constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200 et seq. of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
1966 257 CC RESO ×P ò F SECTION 2. That on November 16, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as can be heard, at the Council Chamber in the City Hall at Ih-I-03 East
Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, is hereby designated as the time and place for the
public hearing to determine whether the premises herein described constitutes a
public nuisance within the meaning of said Section 3200 et seq. of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby instructed to
give notice of public hearing to be conducted with regard to the premises hereinabove
described, as set forth in Section~~00et seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the Chief Administrative Officer.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of October 1966.
