A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS,
GUTTERS, SIDEWALK AND DRIVE APPROACH PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SE4 OF
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of curbs,
gutters, sidewalk and drive approach have been
guaranteed on the following area:
1) Southwest side of Fairgrove Street between
Athol Street and Mangum Street 66-S-46)
b) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of curbs,
gutters, sidewalk and drive approach have been
guaranteed on the following area:
1) Northeast side of Fairgrove Street between
Mangum Street and Athol Street 66-S-47)
c) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of curbs
and gutters have been guaranteed on the
following area:
1) Southeast side of Athol Street between
Fairgrove Street and Waco Street 66-S-48)
d) That it is the intention of the City Council to cause
curbs, gutters, sidewllk and drive approach to be
constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of
properties in and along said above described areas,
pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2, The Street Superintendent is instructed to dive
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the
owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does here-
by order that on the 16th day of November, 1966, at 8:00 P.M, or as soon
thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City
Council will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to
the ordering of the construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalk and driv,lR
approach in the areas above described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed
with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections
and protests.

SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street
Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 19th day of October
1966.
