RESOLUTION NO. 66-288
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALD01I`) PARK ENDORSING PROPOSITION
A, B AND C ON NOVEMBER 8, 1966 BALLOT
WHEREAS, the rising costs of government services are of
concern to all elected officials; and
1HEREAS, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has
appointed a Citizens Economy and Efficiency Committee; and
WHEREAS, this Committee has recommended various cost-
saving improvements in County government; and
WHEREAS, amendments to the Los Angeles County Charter are
required to effect some of these economies; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has authorized Propositions
A, B, and C on the November 8 ballot; and
WHEREAS, the passage of these Propositions will realize sub-
stantial savings to all taxpayers; and
WHEREAS, a majority vote is required on the November 8th
election:
NW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park does hereby endorse Propositions A, B, and C on
the November 8 ballot and urges a Yes vote by all registered voters,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November 1966
