RESOLUTION NO. 66-293
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN
HEREAFTER DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY.

FOLLOWS: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That the owners of certain real property located at
4313, 43132, 4317, 4319 4321 N. Maine Avenue more
particularly described as Lots 3 and 4 of Tract 3179
heretofore made application for a change in zoning
classification for said property, from Zone C-I to
Zone C-2; and
b) That the Planning Commission of said City conducted
a duly noticed public hearing upon said application
and by its Resolution No. PC 66-33, recommended that
said change be granted; and
c) That the City Council conducted a duly noticed
public hearing upon said matter, and based upon the
evidence presented, and each member of the Council
being familiar with the property, determined that
the public interest, convenience and necessity
would require such reclassification, provided:
I) That prior to the expiration of a period
of six months from the date hereof, or
such additional time as may be granted
by the Council but not exceeding an
additional period of one year, that the
applicant submit the necessary plans for
a commercial development upon said
property and obtain a building permit
therefor, and commence construction under
said permit as issued in accordance with
the regulations applicable to C-2 zoned
property at such time; and
d) That upon the applicant's complying with the conditions
as above set forth, the City Clerk is instructed to
place on the amity Council agenda for second reading and
passage, an ordinance rezoning the subject property in
the manner he-einabove described.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and shall forward a copy hereof to the Chief Building
Inspector, Secretary of the Planning Commission, Chief Administrative Officer
and the applicant.
