A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVE-
AENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5870, ET
SEQ, OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE 66-S-4T)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI4E CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby
find, determine, and declare as follows:
a. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, the City Council has found that more than fifty
percent 50%) of the lots In the block designated as follows%
I, Northeast aide of Fairgrove Street between Mangum Street and
Athol Street have in place, or guaranteed, curbs, gutters, sidewalk and drive
approach, hereinafter improvements"; and
b. That the City Council has initiated proceedings to cause the
construction of said improvements; and
c. That no protests were filed at the time set for the hearing on
said matter; and
d. That the public interest, convenience and necessity require the
construction of said improvements.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets Is hereby ordered to
construct said improvements above described, in accordance with the Cityls
standard plans and specifications therefor, in the areas above described, in
which said improvements have not been constructed within the time permItted by
law. If said improvements are constructed by the Superintendent of Streets,
he shall prepare a Report of cost therefor, as prescribed by law.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and shall forward a copy hereof to the said Superintendent,
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 1966,
