DECLARING CITY COUNCIL OPPOSITION UNLESS AMENDED) TO AB 2544 WATER QUALITY AUTHORITY ACT Recommendation: City Council declare its opposition unless amended) to AB 2544, which if approved as written, would limit the city's influence on the allocation of funds. In addition, the bill will limit the city's influence in the Authority's decision-making process on important issues. E. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS CONSULTANT AGREEIvENT IRV DAWSON Recommendation: Approve an agreement with Irven Dawson in an amount not to exceed $29,681. for emergency preparedness consultant services to July 31, 2001. 2. EXTENSION OF CONTRACT GRANT WRITING CONSULTANT SERVICES Confd from 7/12/00) Recommendation: Approve a six-month extension to December 30, 2000, to the agreement between the City and Shaunna dark in the amount of $500. per month, plus $75. per hour for grant writing fees on an as needed basis, for providing grant writing consultant services.
