A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VACATE THE ALLEY LOCATED NORTH OF 14827 RAMONA
BOULEVARD 83-V-4)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain
street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described as:
An alley, ten feet in width, of Tract 4455, in the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 50, Page 1 of Maps in the
Office of the Recorder of said County, bounded as follows:
on the North by the Southerly tine of Lot 5 of said
Tract 4455; on the East by the Northerly prolongation of the
Easterly tine of Lot 3 of said Tract 4455; on the South by
the Northerly line of Lot 3 of said Tract 4455; on the West
by the Easterly line of Lot 4 of said Tract 4455.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 8300
et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 PM on the 5th day of October, 1983,
is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber at City Hall, located at
14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing a11 persons interested
in the proposed vacation as above described.
SECTION 4. That the Director of Community Services shall cause
notice to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Street
and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in
the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day^o? September, 1983.
