A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR
REIMBURSEMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FUNDS FOR THE
DELTA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Baldwin Park
Redevelopment Agency will hold a joint public hearing to
consider approval and adoption of the Proposed Plan for the
Delta Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33328 of the California
Health and Safety Code, the Agency has consulted with
representatives of Los Angeles County to determine the fiscal
impact of said Plan and the anticipated allocation of tax
increment money to implement the Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 33338 of the California Health and
Safety Code provides that every Redevelopment Plan shall
contain other covenants, conditions and restrictions which the
legislative body prescribes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Agreement for Reimbursement
of Tax Increment Funds, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and
incorporated herein by reference shall be approved,
SECTION 2. That said Agreement shall serve as a
solution to its fiscal concerns.
SECTION 3. The Agency shall limit its use of tax
increment revenue to $1,000,000 per year.
SECTION 4- The City Clerk of the City of Baldwin
Park shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED and PASSED this 3th day of October, 1983.
