A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPOINTING MEMBERS
TO THE CITY COUNCIL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
FOR THE CITYWIDE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
AREA FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1984
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAUDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to the provisions of Section 36500
et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, the City Council did on November 17, 1982, adopt
Ordinance No. 842 which established a Citywide Business
Improvement Area in the City of Baldwin Park to commence
on January 1, 1983.
b) That in accordance with Section 9 of Ordinance
No. 842 the City Council did on January 19, 1983 adopt
Resolution No. 83-4 which established a City Council Advisory
Committee for the Citywide Improvement Area.
c) That in Resolution No. 83-4 the City Council did
specify the composition and responsibilities of said Comnittee
and did appoint individuals to that advisory body.
d) That Resolution No. 83-4 established that the terms
of service for each committee member, with the exception of
City elected officials, shall be for one year, expiring
December 31 of each year, except in the event of resignation
or reappointment.
e) That the City Council wishes to reappoint for an
additional one-year term, those eight individuals who served
as committee members during Calendar Year 1983.
f) That therefore, the City Council Advisory Committee
for the term January 1 through December 31, 1984 shall be
comprised of eight members as follows:
The Mayor
One City Councihnan: Robert H. MsNeill
The President of the Baldwin Park Chamber
of Commerce
The President of the Baldwin Park Business
Association
One individual whose business is within
Classification A of the fee schedule
in Ordinance No. 842: Mike Sencer
One individual whose business is within
Classification B of said Ordinance:
Joe Angelo
Two individuals whose businesses are within
Classification C of said Ordinance:
Angelo Medina and Jack Wallace
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of December, 1983.
