HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983 110 CC RESO1983 110 CC RESO(ÌìèÁPjRESOLUTION NO. 83-110 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF MERGED AVENUE 83-V-5) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described within Exhibit B". SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 8300 et.seq.of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 PM on the 18th day of January, 1984, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing alt persons interested in the proposed vacation as above described. SECTION 4. That the Director of Community Services shall cause notice to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in the manner prescribed by law. Excluding therefrom that portion of Merced Avenue described as follows: Beginning at the most Northeasterly corner of the Northerly 80 feet of the Southerly 230 feet of said Lot 25 said corner also being a point of curvature; thence Easterly 40.00 feet to a point on the centertine of Merced Avenue as described in said map of VaUey View Acres said point on centertine being the point of curvature along a curve having a central angle of 45036123" and a radius of 400.00 feet; thence Southerly 160 feet, more or less, along the arc of said curve to the prolongation of the Southerly tine of the Northerly 74 feet of the Southerly 150 feet of said Lot 25; thence Westerly along said prolongation 71 feet, more or less, to a point on a curve having a central angle of 280561091l and a radius of 432.00 feet; thence Northerly 158 feet, more or less, along the arc of said curve, to the point of beginning.
