HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984 004 CC RESO1984 004 CC RESO(Ììé¦RESOLUTION 84-4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF MERGED AVENUE 83-V-5) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described with Exhibit B". SECTION 2. does hereby elect to Section 8300 et. seq, California. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 PM on the 15th day of February, 1984, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing alt persons interested in the proposed vacation as above described. SECTION 4. That the Director of Community Services shall cause notice to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in the manner prescribed by law. Excluding therefrom that portion of Merced Avenue described as follows: Beginning at the most Northeasterly corner of the Northerly 70 feet of the Southerly 220 feet of said Lot 25, said corner being the true point of beginning; thence Easterly 25.00 feet to a point on the centertine of Merced Avenue as described in said map of Valley View Acres, said point on centertine being the point of curvature along a curve having a central angle of 4503612311 and a radius of 400.00 feet; thence Southerly 133 feet, more or less, along the arc of said curve to the prolongation of the Southerly line of the Northerly 74 feet of the Southerly 150 feet of said Lot 25; thence Westerly along said prolongation 44 feet, more or less, to a point on a curve having a central angle of 23056109" and a radius of 432.00 feet; thence Northerly 144 feet, more or less, along the arc of said curve, to a point on the Northerly line of the Northerly 70 feet of the Southerly 220 feet of said Lot 25; thence Easterly along said Northerly line 15 feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning.
