THE CITY COUNCIL OF THc幝^ OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Amendments General Plan `Æ=¤¡b General Plan, any part or element, or provision thereof, may be amended or changed whene®Eнoe public necessity and convenience and the general welfare so require, by following the pL O•­rres herfinafter established. SECTION 2. Amendments Initiation An amendmeP; 1984 025 CC RESO(ÌìébResolution No. 84-25 Page 2 SECTION 7. The City shall receive amendments or changes to the element or elements of the General Plan throughout the calendar year. The City shall process for public hearing only those applications accepted as complete by the last calendar day of the months of January, March, June, and September. Said petition shall be filed wit‚jX˜¬'City Planner and shall be accompanied by the filing and processing fee,environmental fees+ÏØû¦u b) As to any portion of the General Plan, by motion of the Planning Commission or R­°ÑŠnty Council. SECTION 3. Hearings Ea`h amendment shall be the subject of a pubØѱѡbaring before the Planning Commission and the City Council. SECTION 4. Amendments NoÀѱ”Ä Notices of hearings shall be given in the following manner: a) At least one 1) publi÷™¥˜¦i in a newspaper of general circulation within the City, at least ten 10) days p摾ƒéso such hearing; and b) In case the proposed amendment or change to the general plan Qy½‚ tts of a change of the boundaries of any district so as to reclassify property from any oaòÍö„ºb to any other land use, the Planning Commission/City Council shall give additional notic*¾—éshe time and place of such hearing and of the purpose thereof by mailing postage prepaid, íH½ž½nce not less than five 5) days prior to the date of the hearing to the owners of all suchT۝ž¹brty to be reclassified and to the owners of property within a radius of three hundred 300÷)—”¬s of the exterior boundaries of the property to be changed, using for this purpose the last known name and address of svch owners as shown upon the assessment roll of this county. SECTION 5. Amendments Action by Planning Commission/City Council The Planning Commission and City Council shall act upon amendments in the time and manner as set forth in the Planning Law Section 65300 et seq.. Government Code of the State of California). SECTION 6. Amendments Amendments or Changes to the General Plan No mandatory element of the General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four 4) times during any calengar year. This section shall not apply to the adoption of any element of the general plan.
