A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
A STREET EASEMENT ADJACENT TO 3702 MERGED AVENUE
85-V-1)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain
street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described as:
That portion of Lot 8 of Tract No. 6285, in the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 69, Page 40 of Maps in the
office of the recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 8; thence
Southwesterly along the Northwesterly tine of said Lot 8 to
a point on a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having
a radius of 180 feet, said curve being tangent at its
Northerly terminus to a line that is parallel with and
distant 30 feet Southwesterly, measured at right angles,
from the Northeasterly line of said Lot 8; said curve being
tangent at its Southerly terminus to a line that is
parallel with and distant 30 feet Southwesterly, measured
at right angles, from the Northeasterly line of Lot 7 of
said Tract No. 6285; thence Southeasterly along said curve
to the Southeasterly line of said Lot 8;thence Northeasterly
along said Southeasterly line to the Northeasterly line of
said Lot 8; thence Northwesterly along said last mentioned
Northeasterly line to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 8300
et. seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 pm on the 19th day of June, 1985
is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Halt, located
at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing all persons
interested in the proposed vacation as above described.
SECTION 4. That the Director of Community Services shall cause
notice to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets
and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in
the manner prescribed by law. /^
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th/day of May, 1985.
