A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK IN TRIBUTE
10 BALDWIN PARK POLICE OFFICER
STEVEN HUFFORD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS,
Police Department,
of April 27, 1985,
Officer Steven Hufford is a member of the Baldwin Park
was regularly assigned in this capacity on the morning
at 3744 Grace Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, Officer Hufford in the course of responding to assist
the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Rescue 29, on a call of a man down,
possibly suffering a heart attack; and
WHEREAS, in the course of arrival, found a 46 year old male to
be pulseless and not breathing, immediately began C.P.R., and mouth to
mouth resuscitation and continued giving aid, until Paramedics arrived
and relieved Officer Hufford; and
WHEREAS, Officer Hufford has distinguished himself as a respected
law enforcement officer, who's actions and quick response ultimately saved
the life of James Guilbeauxis in keeping with the highest standards of law
enforcement.
NCW/ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, in recognition of this event, pay tribute to Officer Steven
Hufford proclaimed this 5th day of June, 1985.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution.

I, LINDA L. GAIR, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly approved and
