RESOLUTION NO. 85- 80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION OF A STREET
EASEMENT RELATING TO 3752, 3736, 3716 MERGED AVENUE,
AND 3767 AND 3769 BRESEE AVENUE 85-V-4)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOESE HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That in accordance with the provisions of Public
Streets Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law: Section
8300 et. seq. Streets and Highways Code) the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park adopted a Resolution declaring its
intention to vacate a certain portion of a public street, to
wit: a street easement east of Merced Avenue in the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
is more described herein; and
b) That said Resolution and the Notice of Street
Vacation duly posted, all in the form place, time and manner
required by law and all legal requirements have been met; and
c) That this City Council, conducted the hearing re-
quired by said Resolution of Intention, and heard alt evidence
offered in relation to the proposed vacation, and considered
the effect thereof on the City's General Plan; and
d) That the portion of the public Street proposed for
vacation hereunder is described in Exhibit B".
e) That based upon the evidence, it is founded hereby
that said STREET AREA is not now needed for future or present
public purposes; nor, is the same useful as a non-motorized
transportation facility; and
f) That the STREET AREA proposed for vacation is as on
Exhibit A", attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this
reference; and
g) That from and after the date of recordation of this
Resolution, the above-described STREET AREA shall no longer con-
stitute a public street.
SECTION 2. That, based upon the foregoing, the said STREET AREA
be, and hereby is, ordered vacated, as an existing public street, provided
that alt of the easements and rights as described in Section 8340 a) of
the Streets and Highways Code, to which referenced is hereby made, are ex-
cepted and reserved.
section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof, to
be recorded in the Office of the County Record, Los Angeles County,
California.

315.00 feet of the Uesterly half of Lot 10, Tract No. 6285 in the City
of Baldwin Park» County of Los Angeles State of California as per map
recorded in Book 69, Page 40 of Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of
said County.

Beginning at a point on a line parallel with and 525.00 feet northerly
of the southerly boundary of Lot 10, Tract No. 718 in the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California as recorded
in Book 17, Page 17 of Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of said
County, distant easterly thereon 290.00 feet more or less from the
westerly boundary of said Lot 10, thence easterly 10,00 feet more or
less, along said line thence S 14 47'20" E 54,00 feet, thence N 75
12'40" U 25.50 feet to a point on a curve concave to the southeast
having a radius of 194.65 feet» thence northeasterly along said curve
35,00 feet more or less to an intersection with a curve concave 20,00

Beggining at a point in the northerly line of Lot 17, said Tract No. 6285,
distant easierly ther on 12.06 feet, from the most northwesterly corner
of said Lot 17, said point be ing the beginnincr of a curve concave to
the northeast, having a radius of 120.00 feet, tangent to a line
parallel with and 30.00 feet easterly, measured at right angles, from
the westerly line of Lot 16 of said Tract No. 6285 and tangent to a
line parallel with and 30,00 feet northeasterly, measured at right
angles from the southwesterly line of Lot 17 said Tract No. 6285, thence
southeasterly along said curve to last mentioned parallel line; thence
