A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PORTION OF LARRY AVENUE CUL-DE-SAC SOUTH OF
DUNIA STREET 85-V-6)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That in accordance with the provisions
of Public Streets Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law" Section 8300 et.seq. Streets and
Highways Code) the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park adopted a Resolution declaring its
intention to vacate a certain portion of a public
street, to wit: a portion of Larry Avenue cul-de-
sac south of Dunia Street in the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as is more described herein; and
b) That said Resolution and the Notice of
Street Vacation duly posted, all in the form, place,
time and manner required by law and all legal re-
quirements have been met; and
c) That this City Council, conducted the
hearing required by said Resolution of Intention
and heard all evidence offered in relation to the
proposed vacation, and considered the effect
thereof on the City's General Plan; and
d) That the portion of the public street
proposed for vacation hereunder is described as in
Exhibit B", attached hereto; and
e) That based upon the evidence, it is
founded hereby that said STREET AREA is not now
needed for future or present public purposes; nor,
is the same useful as a non-motorized transport-
ation facility; and
f) That the STREET AREA proposed for vac-
ation is as on Exhibit A", attached hereto, and
incorporated herein by this reference; and
g) That from and after the date of record-
ation of this Resolution, the above-described
STREET AREA shall no longer constitute a public
street.
SECTION 2. That, based upon the foregoing, the
said STREET AREA be, and hereby is, ordered vacated, as
an existing public street, provided that all of the ease-
ments and rights as described in Section 8340 a) of the
Streets and Highways Code, to which reference is hereby
made, are excepted and reserved.

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall
cause a certified copy thereof, to b-e recorded in the
Office of the County recorder, Los Angeles County, State
of California.

That portion of Larry Avenue shown on Parcel Map No. 950 in
the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of
California as per map filed in Book 163, Page 66 of Parcel
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county being
southerly/ easterly and westerly of the following described
line.
Beginning at the southerly terminus of that certain curve,
concave easterly, in the easterly line of Larry Avenue as
shown on said map as having a central angle of 27°15'39", a
radius of 95.05 feet and an arc distance of 45.22 feet; thence
southwesterly along said curve through a central angle with a
non-tangent curve concave northerly having a radius of 35.00
feet, a central angle of 188°04'40" and an arc distance of
114.89 feet, said intersection being the true point of
beginning of this description.
Thence southeasterly, southerly, southwesterly, northwesterly,
northerly and northeasterly along said curve having a radius
of 35.00 feet the arc distance of 114.89 feet to a point of
intersection with the westerly line of Larry Avenue as shown
on said map said point of intersection on said westerly line
being on a non-tangent curve, concave westerly, having a
radius of 95.05 feet, a central angle of 27015'3911 and an arc
distance of 45.22 feet. Said point being located
northeasterly along said curve, having a radius of 95.05 feet,
an arc distance of 1.43 feet and a central angle of 0051137n
from the southerly terminus of said curve.
