HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986 011 CC RESO1986 011 CC RESO;¢fìù¬RESOLUTION NO. 86-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION AND PAYMENT OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF SELECT SYSTEM STREETS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Baldwin Park as County Aid to Cities; $70,248 for Fiscal year 1985-86; and That the City Council desires to expend the amount of $70,248 of said funds accrued to the City for the maintenance of streets on the City's approved Select System. SECTION 2. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $70,248 of the Aid to Cities funds apportioned to the City for the maintenance of those streets on the currently approved Select System County Road Department, and incorporated herein by reference; and After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County is requested to send such allocated amount to the City. The City will begin using the funds for street maintenance according to the terms of the allocation. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing.
