A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING
THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE
PURPOSE OP OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
PURSUANT TO THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION
GRANT PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CENTRAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park desires to apply for financial assistance pursuant to the
Urban Development Action Grant Program of the Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park believes that a need exists for such assistance.
SECTION 3. That the City Council conducted a public
hearing at 7 P.M. on Wednesday, April 16, 1986 at which time the
Council received public comment regarding the proposed application
for financial assistance.
SECTION 4. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute any and all necessary applications and documents on behalf
of the City of Baldwin Park for the purpose of obtaining financial
assistance pursuant to the Urban Development Action Grant Program,
including any amendments thereof.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
