A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT, ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND
APPROVING THE ENGINEER'S REPORT IN
DELTA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 86-2
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, on the 6th day of August, 1986, adopted its Resolution
of Intention No. 86-62 under the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913 for the acquisition of improvements in Delta
Assessment District 86-2; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention,
the report containing plans and specifications, an estimate
of cost, a diagram/ and assessment has been presented to,
and considered by, the City Council; and
WHEREAS, at a hearing duly held, this Council
received no protests in relation to the proposed improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The report, the assessment, and the
diagram are confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. The improvement be acquired in accordance
with said Resolution of Intention No. 86-62 and the report
for Delta Assessment District 86-2.
SECTION 3. The City Treasurer is authorized and
directed to establish a special fund account to be known as
the Improvement Fund for Delta Assessment District 86-2."
SECTION 4. The assessment hereby is levied upon the
respective subdivisions of land in the assessment district.
SECTION 5. The assessment shall be recorded in the
office of the Superintendent of Streets.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall file a copy of the
assessment diagram in the office of the County Recorder and
cause to be paid the filing fee therefor.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall execute and record a
Notice of Assessment in the office of the County Recorder.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect. 7
