A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING A
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park/
California, has adopted Ordinance No. 684 creating a
Redevelopment Agency to perform certain redevelopment functions as
assigned by said Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has determined it necessary to
advance City funds to the Redevelopent Agency to carry out these
functions; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency will repay these advances
within one year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
SECTION 1. A Redevelopment Agency Revolving Fund as provided
for in Sections 33620 through 33626 of the Health and Safety Code
of California is hereby established. Payments received by the
City from the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency shall be
redeposited in the Revolving Fund as approved by the City Manager.
SECTION 2. That the budget is hereby amended in the amount
of $500,000 to reflect the establishment of this fund.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of
original resolutions.
