A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK PLEDGING
ADHERENCE TO THE STANDARDS ADOPTED BY
THE COMMISSION ON PEACE OFFICERS
STANDARDS AND TRAINING
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park desires to qualify to
receive aid from the State of California under provisions of
section 12522, Chapter I, of Title 4, part 4 of the California
Penal Code;
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 13510(c), Chapter I, the
Baldwin Park Police Department will adhere to standards for
recruitment and training established by the California Commission
of Peace Officer Standards and Training P.O.S.T.).
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 13512, Chapter I, the
commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as
deemed appropriate by the commisiion to ascertain that the Baldwin
Park Police Department's Public Safety Dispatcher personnel adhere
to the standards for selection and training established by the
Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October 1988.
