A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING CERTAIN
AGREEMENTS WITH RESPECT TO CERTIFICATES
OF PARTICIPATION, SERIES 1989 CIVIC
PROJECTS)
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park the
City") that:
WHEREAS, the Baldwin Park Public Financing Authority the
Authority") working together with the City has issued its
Certificates of Participation, Series 1989 Civic Projects) the
Certificates") to finance a new Community Center Facility the
Project"); and
WHEREAS, the City and the Authority desire to amend the
Project by adding the remodeling and rehabilitation of Civic
Auditorium and, if funds are available, the construction of a
Senior Citizens Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED and DETERMINED as
follows:
Section 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and
directed to revise the Trust Agreement, the Lease Agreement and
the Site Lease and to take such actions as may be required to add
the remodeling and rehabilitation of the civic Auditorium and the
construction of a Senior Citizen Center to the Project as may be
appropriate at such times ad directed by the Executive Director.
Section 2. The Mayor, or the Mayor pro tern if the Mayor is
unavailable/ or the senior member of the legislative body if the
Mayor pro tern is unavailable or the city Manager, the Assistant
City Manager, the Finance Director, or any deputy or assistant of
the City Manager designated by the City Manager, the City Clerk
and other officials of the City are hereby authorized and directed
to execute such other agreements, documents and certificates as
may be necessary to effect the purpose of this Resolution and the
Certificates.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March, 1989.
