A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION
OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE
OF SELECT SYSTEM STREETS
THE CITY OF
AND PAYMENT
MAINTENANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles has
appropriated certain monies to the City of Baldwin Park as
County Aid to Cities; $78,894 for Fiscal Year 1988-89; and
$73,519 for Fiscal Year 1989-1990; and
That the City Council desires to expend
the amount of $152/413 of said funds accrued to the City for
the maintenance of streets on the City's approved Select
System.
SECTION 2. The County of Los Angeles is hereby
requested to allocate $152,413 of the Aid to Cities funds
apportioned to the City for the maintenance of those streets on
the currently approved Select System of the Los Angeles County
Department of Public Works, and incorporated herein by reference/-
and
After the allocation is approved by the
Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County is
requested to send such allocated amount to the City. The City
will begin using the funds for street maintenance according to
the terms of the allocation.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and hereby directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to Los Angeles County for
processing.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED on August 16, 1989.
