HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990 016 CC RESO1990 016 CC RESO(Ìì¾q RESOLUTION 90-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON TUESDAY, APRIL 10, 1990, CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. 89-91 OF THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, April 10, 1990; has been called by Resolution No. 89- 110 adopted on December 6, 1989; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL IF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding the General Municipal Election, there is established 15 voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts of the City of Baldwin Park established for the holding of state and county elections, as the regular precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places designated; and that the persons named, being competent and voters and residents of the city are appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precincts and they shall conduct the election in the manner prescribed by law. That the compensation of the persons named as precinct board members is fixed at the sum of forty-five dollars for each Inspector and thirty-five dollars for each Judge and Clerk for the election. when required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be twelve dollars for the election. Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
