A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
PARTICIPATION IN THE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the California Energy Commission offers the Energy
Partnership Loan Program to local jurisdictions to help
finance qualifying energy efficiency improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park qualifies to participate in
the California Energy Commission's Energy Partnership Loan
Program by virtue of the regulations of said program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park agrees that upon approval
of the loan request by the California Energy Commission, it
will make every effort to implement this project within one
year.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Baldwin Park is authorized to submit
an application for the California Energy Commission's Energy
Partnership Loan Program for the Morgan Park Pool Project.
SECTION 2. The Mayor or the City Manager is authorized and
empowered to execute in the name of the City of Baldwin Park
all necessary documents to implement and carry out the
purposes of this resolution.
SECION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause a copy of the same to be
forwarded to the California Energy Commission.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 16th day of April, 1990.
