A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE PURPOSE
OF OBTAINING 16TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM THE U. S. DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AM) URBAN DEVELOPMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park desires to apply for 16th Year Community Development
Block Grant funds to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park believes that a need exits for such funds.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute any and all necessary applications and documents on behalf
of the City of Baldwin Park for the purpose of obtaining Community
Development Block Grant Funds from the Department of Housing and
Urban Development as an Entitlement city, including any amendments
thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 1990.
