HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990 061 CC RESO1990 061 CC RESO(Ìì¾ÌRESO 90-61 AUG 15 1990H!_8 RESOLUTION NO. 90-61 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. gO-46 ESTABLISHING A BASIC SALARY PLAN FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary for each classification is hereby fixed by the salary range set forth for general employees in Section 1 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 2. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary range for each confidential classification is hereby the salary range set forth in Section 2 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 3. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary range for each management classification is hereby the salary range set forth in Section 3 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 4. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary range for each executive classification is hereby the salary range set forth in Section 4 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 5. Effective June 24, 1989, the salary range for part-time/temporary employees is hereby fixed by the salary set forth in Section 5 of Exhibit A attached hereto. C' SECTION 6. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary for each fixed rate position is hereby fixed by the salary set forth in Section 6 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 7. Effective June 24, 1990, the salary for each classification is hereby fixed by the salary range set forth for sworn and non-sworn police employees in Section 7 of Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION 8. That the employment agreement with the City Manager is consistent with the terms of the Basic Salary Plan. SECTION 9. To achieve designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk, a City Clerk must meet the certification criteria as established by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks organization. SECTION 10. That the City Council shall be entitled to health and welfare benefits commensurate with the benefits received by other City employees. SECTION 11. That the City Treasurer shall be entitled to health and welfare benefits commensurate with the benefits received by other City employees SECTION 12. That the appropriate Memorandums of Understanding for employees represented by C.L.O.C.E.A., and the Baldwin Park Management Employees Association are hereby effective for the period of June 24, 1990 through June 22, 1991. That the appropriate Memorandum of Understanding for employees represented by the Baldwin Park Police Association is hereby effective for the period June 24, 1990 through June 22, 1991. SECTION 14. That all Resolutions or portions thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 15. That the City clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy hereof to the City Manager, each department head and the Personnel Manager.
