A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING THE NEGATIVE
DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AND A
SPECIFIC PLAN ON APPROXIMATELY 2.96 ACRES OF
LAND TO ENSURE THE COORDINATED DEVELOPMENT OF
THE SITE FOR INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL
PURPOSES APPLICANT: CITY OF BALDWIN PARK;
CASE NO. SP 90-4; LOCATION: 1300 BLOCK OF N
MAINE AVENUE, NORTHEAST SIDE OF STREET).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine, and declare as
follows:
a) That the City of Baldwin Park Applicant")
heretofore filed an application Application") for an
approval of a specific plan in Case No. SP 90-4
Plan") pursuant to Section 65450 et seq. of the
Government Code to ensure the coordinated development
for commercial and industrial purposes on certain
real property located at the 1300 block of N. Maine
Avenue, northeast side of street, described, more
particularly in the Application which is on file in
the office of the Secretary of the Planning
Commission of the City Property"), and
environmental analysis; and
b) That the Planning Commission conducted a
duly noticed public hearing to consider adoption of
said Plan and recommended that the same be approved;
and
c) That the Plan as proposed is consistent
with the purpose and intent of the Sierra Vista
Redevelopment Project Area Plan and the General Plan
and their goals and policies; and
d) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing to consider adoption of said
Plan and determined that the public interest requires
approval of said Plan; and
SECTION 2. That the City Council relied upon the
Administrative Record, and the evidence presented at the
public hearing in reaching the conclusion that the Plan should
be approved.
SECTION 3. That the Specific Plan, be on file in
the Office of the City Planner, marked Specific Plan SP
90-4", and the same hereby is, adopted and shall be operative
as of the date of the adoption of this Resolution. The
original of the Specific Plan is on file with the City Clerk.
SECTION 4. That the owner or owners of each parcel
of the real property within the Property shall pay a Specific
Plan Fee in accordance with the formula established in the
Specific Plan, prior to the issuance of any permits or other
entitlements permitting the construction of buildings or
structures upon the Property.
SECTION 5. That the City Council finds the Negative
Declaration for this project has been prepared and considered
pursuant to, and in accordance with the provisions of CEQA,
the State CEQA Guidelines, and the City's procedures. The
Negative Declaration is approved and ordered filed.

SECTION 6. That the City Planner shall note the
existence of the Plan on the City's official Zoning Map as
adopted pursuant to Section 17.06.020 of the Baldwin Park
Zoning Code.
SECTION 7. That the city Planner shall be
responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the
provisions of the Plan.
SECTION 8. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy
hereof to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
