A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
AS THE LOS ANGELES CONGESTION MANAGEMENT
PROGRAM CMP) AGENCY FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS Government Code Section 65089 requires the
development of a Congestion Management Program for Los Angeles
County which includes the County and every city in the County; and
WHEREAS Government Code Section 65089 provides that the
Congestion Management Plan shall be developed either by the County
Transportation Commission, or by another public agency, as
designated by the County Board of Supervisors and the City
Councils of a majority of the cities representing a majority of
the population in the incorporated area of the County; and
WHEREAS the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission is
the appropriate public agency in the County of Los Angeles to be
designated under the provisions of Government Code Section 65089;
and
WHEREAS the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission by
action taken on July 25, 1990 has supported its designation as the
Congestion Management Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park hereby:
Acknowledges the designation of the Los Angeles County
Transportation Commission as the Congestion Management Program
CMP) Agency for Los Angeles County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of
