A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE PURPOSE
OF OBTAINING 17TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM THE U. S. DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park desires to apply for 17th Year Community Development
Block Grant funds to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park believes that a need exists for such funds.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute any and all necessary applications and documents on behalf
of the City of Baldwin Park for the purpose of obtaining
Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Department of
Housing and Urban Development as an Entitlement City, including
any amendments thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

I, LINDA L. GAIR, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin
Park, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly approved and passed at a REGULAR MEETING of the Baldwin
Park City Council on the 15th day of May 1991, by the following
