HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991 051 CC RESO1991 051 CC RESO(Ìì½ RESOLUTION NO. 91- 51 A RESOLUTION OF TILE CITY COUNCIL OF TILE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK EXTENDING RESOLUTION NO. 91-34 REGARDING FEES AND CHARGES FOR ISSUANCE, PROCESSING, AND FILING OF VARIOUS CITY SERVICES AND PERMITS WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park charges certain fees for the filing, accepting, reviewing, approving, and issuing of various City applications, permits, services, and entitlements to use as allowed by law; and WHEREAS, the City performed a study by which it determined its costs for providing the aforesaid services and permits, and on July 3, 1991, adopted Urgency Resolution No. 91-34 as an interim authorization increasing the fees and charges which apply to the filing, accepting, reviewing, approving or issuing of the aforesaid services and permits in accordance with said study; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 91-34 under the law will have no force and effect 30 days after its adoption, and the City Council desires to extend the interim authority for an additional 30 days; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 66016, notice has been given and a public hearing has been held with regard to extending the interim authority for an additional 30 days. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The interim authority establishing and/or increasing fees and charges for the filing, accepting, reviewing, approving, and issuing of various City applications, permits, service, or entitlements to use, as set forth in Resolution No. 91-34, is hereby extended for an additional 30 days. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by law. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1991.
